1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps data on your device. Both can be used for good (keeping you logged in) or bad (tracking you across the internet). MILAN uses them only for the first kind.

3. What we don't use
- No advertising or ad-targeting cookies (no Google AdSense, no DART cookies, no ad networks).
- No third-party analytics trackers building profiles of you.
- No cross-site tracking, fingerprinting or web beacons.
- No sale or sharing of cookie data — there is none to sell.
Because we use only strictly necessary storage, MILAN does not need an EU-style cookie consent banner — there is nothing optional to consent to.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Note that clearing MILAN's data will sign you out and reset your saved preferences, since that is all we store.
5. Changes
If we ever add optional cookies (for example privacy-respecting analytics), we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
